The logo of Potter’s Wheel metaphorically represents a perfect harmony between the individual, the opportunity & the skillful hands of the potter who blends them together to create a master piece every time. Our coaching practice is designed on the same philosophy and conviction.

Potter’s wheel strongly recommends organization to conduct/undertake appropriate psychometric assessments of individuals depending on the Coaching contexts for which they want their teams who get nominated for being coached. Such tools will serve as the baseline reference to determine “as is” situation of the Coachee before the start of the engagement and facilitate in fixing the Goals in alignment with the individual’s current situation. This will ensure that there is no loss of time in determining the way forward once the Coaching engagement starts....

In alignment with the needs of the industry & various organizations, Potter’s Wheel has developed six Coaching contexts that cover diverse organizational situations which would warrant the need to accelerate individual’s effort towards achieving their goals within a time frame through a Coaching engagement. Potter’s wheel opines that an engagement for 12 to 18 month is the ideally suited timeframe to get the best results from a Coaching engagement however individual situations may warrant shorter timelines suiting their specific needs.

Individual Coaching

  • Individuals who wish to accomplish their personal goals can benefit from a Coaching engagement immensely. We strongly recommend our model of “managing SELF” which is our pioneering area of focus as the Coaching Context for an individual to get coached. We believe that to expand the quality of life it is essential that an individual works simultaneously on all the four dimensions.

Delivery Methodology

  • Coaching sessions will be held in a combination of face to face, voice or video call depending on Coachee’s location & other considerations.
  • Coachee orientation session will be held before the commencement of the actual Coaching engagement. This session will not be considered as a Coaching session.
  • Each session will be for 60 minutes continuously. Coaching charges are to be paid on per session basis

  • Each of us wants to be succeeding in all our endeavors at all times, however not everyone may be well placed to channelize the efforts in a manner that produces best results. Many of us may not even recognize the need to introspect, look inside, learn and empower ourselves to lead a fulfilling life where the efforts and measurement exist perfect harmony. Just as we need to cultivate and grow the plants to yield more of what we want, we have to do the same with managing SELF to get the best of what we want from life.

Empowering

  • The ability to choose is such a powerful tool, that we seldom realize its value and don’t exercise it from a position of strength at all times. It is the greatest enabler available to every human being. It is the bedrock for growth & expansion of our lives. It empowers us in many profound ways. It makes us expand or contract the quality of our lives.
  • Look at your life, take a moment to introspect. Spend some time in solitude and peace. When you feel truly connected with yourself, ask yourself these questions:
    1. Am I exercising the power of choice from a position of strength or weakness?
    2. How is it impacting my life?
    3. How do I feel about myself?
    4. Do I feel empowered as I live life?

Learning

  • True learning is the shift from being taught to seeking. As we get used to being taught by our parents & teachers predominantly, we perhaps do not comprehend the impact of non-seeking and thus it becomes our natural style of learning. Thus unknowingly we create a learning vacuum within ourselves and it expands with time.
  • A true seeker never hesitates in acknowledging not knowing, because admission & acceptance propels the seeker to learn. Learning begins with the passion for knowing & enjoying the process of seeking. Learning is a truly invigorating experience.
  • ask yourself these questions:
    1. Do I pretend about knowing something when I don’t know in reality?
    2. Has pretension become my natural style of conduct?
    3. Am I comfortable in admitting my ignorance?
    4. Am I curious enough to acquire new knowledge?

Fulfilling

  • The journey of managing SELF culminates with leading a fulfilling life. In the early stages of our life we may not fully comprehend the importance of this aspect as it never becomes our priority to accomplish while we purse reaching our other goals. However the absence of fulfilment in our lives begins to show up intermittently when we encounter moments of deep introspection and self-reflection as we grow in age and experience life more closely
  • Some questions that could facilitate in knowing your true state of fulfilment are:
    1. What is my real passion?
    2. Am I pursuing my passion in any form right now?
